Theory of Change
Tunica Teens In Action, Inc.’s (TTIA) “Theory of Change” is supported by several important pillars of work that will help to empower the low-income community of color to make the changes that are stated in our vision statement.
Tunica Teens In Action’s vision has been simplified down to the belief that “We want to make our community a better place for Everyone to Live In”. Tunica Teens In Action (TTIA) will continue to work in strategic partnership with other allies to achieve our vision for equity and racial justice that will make all communities a better place to live in. Tunica Teens In Action believes that a proper education along with accountable governance from young leaders are pathways out of poverty that can advance our work for equity and racial justice. These pathways will help low-income and people of color to create accountable systems that will tear down those old racist systems that infect most of our communities.
TTIA would like to see the creation and implementation of public policies that will be accountable to the needs and interest of the low-income communities of color that will allow for economic justice, equity, racial justice, and the end to discrimination for all.
Tunica Teens In Action, Inc. realizes that different strategies must be used to accomplish the changes that are desperately needed in “our” communities. TTIA will continue to work in collaboration with other allies to achieve our vision for equity, racial justice, and the end to discrimination.
